Roses from Purely Roses Company Highlighted in Recent Esteemed UK Flower Show

Rutland, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/29/2011 -- No other flower has been the subject of as many poems or spoken of as fondly as the rose. For centuries, people around the world have admired roses for their exquisite beauty and fragrance.

For years, people wishing to send flowers by post have relied on Purely Roses, a Rutland-based business that prides itself on offering a huge variety of gorgeous arrangements and bouquets in a rainbow of colors, combined with outstanding customer service.

Recently, roses from Purely Roses were used by top international florists in the Chicheley fall flower show in the UK.

“We supplied 1,000 Labelle roses for the show,” said company spokesperson Jay Williams said, adding that he was thrilled that Purely Roses was able to support UK flower arranging.

“The event was organised by Fleur Events Ltd, Fleur Creatif and Judith Blacklock Flower School, to promote the use of cut flowers in Britain and to support flower arranging and British floristy,” Williams said.

“Our flowers were used in the main house, which was being decorated by 10 designers from around the world and was meant to be the central point of the whole event,” he said.

“We are definitely starting a trend of getting asked to supply our roses for events due to the quality.”

While Williams is extremely pleased that his company’s roses were part of such a prestigious event, he also was not surprised that they were so well-received. He knows that customers looking to have beautiful roses delivered have come to rely on Purely Roses for its stunning roses of the highest quality, all grown on company farms in Kenya.

“The flowers are grown without artificial light and heat and as such are significantly more carbon efficient than flowers grown within the UK and Europe,” Williams explained, adding that the hand-tied bouquets are packed in stylish green boxes, with free delivery on weekends to Mainland UK.

The company also specializes in Valentines roses, wedding roses, and exquisite flower designs in a wide variety of colours from bouquets to stunning table decorations. Purely Roses also works closely with floral designers looking to buy roses.

“We sell single stem roses in quantities of 50 stems,” Williams said. “We are increasingly supplying florists and floral designers who value the high quality of the roses. We also sell direct to the public and have a large range of rose bouquets and posies, which have been extremely popular.”
