Austin, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/30/2019 -- Austin's #1 for plumbing and HVAC, Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning, is inviting residents in the greater Austin area to participate in a decades-long tradition: creating the wackiest and wittiest toilet window display passersby will ever see.
The year-round Toilet Window Display Contest initiative will encourage residents to take on the challenge of transforming a porcelain toilet into a personified character with a play-on-words slogan that connects plumbing with the trends of the season. Winners that are selected will win $100 and receive a photo in front of their decorated display, which is located at 2908 San Gabriel St. in Austin, Texas.
"This window display has been a contribution to the 'Keep Austin Weird' culture, and what better than to have us as a community work together on keeping that vibe alive," said Owner/Operator, Brad Casebier.
Radiant's toilet window display has garnered attention in the past, most notably, being dubbed Austin Chronicle's Best Window Display in 2014. Designs featured previously included titles such as "Teenage Mutant Ninja Toilets," "Double, Double, Toilet Trouble," "Toto GP," and "The Lone Flusher." This is the first time in its history that the company has extended this opportunity to local residents.
The Toilet Window Display Contest is now accepting submissions for its spring season. By submitting a title and brief description, each person has a chance at winning $100 if their concept is chosen. Interested participants can enter here.
