Boston, MA -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/17/2014 -- Approximately 80,000 people suffer from a form of incontinence in Bulgaria in 2013. Heavy cases of incontinence often require up to three units per day. According to reports presented during the conference of the Association of People with urinary problems, the problem is more common in women with 40% of all women suffering from some form of incontinence. Out of those, 30,000 are fully incontinent. In men, the problem is less common. Only 4% of the male population suffer from incontinence and that is most often associated with a specific urinal condition. Very often, incontinence arises after prostate surgery for men. The biggest cause of incontinence is stress. It is medically claimed that half of all cases are caused by stress. Furthermore, 82% of all incontinence cases are light, while the rest are medium or heavy.
