The report finds that the Taiwanese desktop PC shipment volume surged 10.5% sequentially to reach around 16.7 million units in the fourth quarter of 2013. In the first quarter of 2014, as enterprises have been earmarking new IT budgets for the year, it is expected that the industry's shipment volume will only show a slight sequential decline of 5.8% to around 15.7 million units.
