It’s official! May has been declared National Wine Month, so Noble Vines are hosting special Summer Wines tastings at for everyone who would like to know a little bit more about the wonderful world of wine.
London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/13/2011 -- Theses tastings available throughout the summer will help you select your perfect wines for picnics, barbeques and – let’s face it, wet afternoons watching Wimbledon!
We’ll start off with sparkling wines and Champagne to get the party going, and you can compare some good value sparkling with the proper stuff to see if it’s worth all that.
Then we’ll move on to some alternative whites – how about something different this year? An Albariño from Spain, Verdicchio from Italy or a Picpoul de Pinet from France? They are all a bit different and we can tell you some tales about them so you’ll never forget!
Summer reds are always popular, we have some to be served a little chilled – a Beaujolais is lovely and light, or how about the cherry-like Planeta Cerasuolo della Vittoria from Sicily?
We’ll finish off the tasting with some light dessert wines and all wines will be served with delicious canapés so you can do a bit of food and wine matching at the same time.
