New Castle, DE -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/18/2011 -- The 2012 Toyota Yaris will soon be arriving at Price Toyota in New Castle, Delaware. For the 2012 model year, the Yaris is undergoing a complete redesign, which was recently revealed at the Lollapalooza three-day concert in Chicago.

As Delaware fans of the Yaris hatchback anxiously await its release, a sneak peek at the new model reveals much to look forward to. The four-door hatchback will have three available trims: L, LE, and SE. On display was the LE trim, which exposed a more dominant front and more Scion-like design. Toyota also released the 2012 hatchback’s EPA estimated fuel economy, which showed that the automatic transmission is expected to receive 30 MPG city and 35 MPG highway, while the manual should produce a slightly higher fuel economy of 30 MPG city and 38 MPG highway.

Inside, the gauge cluster has been moved in front of the steering wheel from its previous center-mounted spot, and the materials are now softer to the touch. Other features revealed include a tilt steering wheel with audio controls, power windows with driver’s side auto-down, CD stereo with USB/iPod capabilities, and Bluetooth phone connectivity and audio streaming. For safety, nine airbags also come standard.
