These works include a redesign of the bar to increase seating allowance, space, and to modernize this area whilst maintaining a contemporary nautical theme. The additional enhancements have been the increase in banquette seating, book swap and a new music system.
The main restaurant will now offer a home bar, new buffet layout and new chairs that provide a more comfortable and fitting space. A Nespresso machine is now available throughout meal periods and Atoll Explorer now provides 24-hour supply tea, coffee, fruit and biscuits on board.
Guest cabins have the addition of new head boards, new updated 200TC cotton linen, Maldivian coconut soap, Atoll Explorer beach slippers, super sized beach bags plus a new range of aromatherapy inspired amenities. The cabins are an air conditioned refuge offering Indian Ocean views and your own bathroom facility.
New guest service touches have been added such as afternoon tea and beach beverage service if you are on an uninhabited Maldivian Island, an increased variety of modern cocktails featuring Atoll Explorer's home grown mint and an increased beverage selection if you are on an all inclusive package.
The kitchen will undergo a revamp with new equipment to help roll out a new menu with greater variety and quality. Many of the Atoll Explorer's classic dishes will still remain though added variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner will be the highlight.
Stage 2 of the upgrade, will be replacing of the carpets on board, reviewing the shade on the top decks and adding a help yourself bar near the top decks.
