Taking Scooters on the Go With Ease: A Variety of Scooter Trailers for Sale

It is foolish to think that all scooters and mobility devices are created in the same size; otherwise, there would be no need for scooter trailers. The variety of scooters at Top Mobility is designed to handle holding many scooters and mobility devices.

Hudson, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/06/2011 -- Top Mobility, leaders of online retail for scooter accessories, is proud to announce the addition of scooter trailers to their ever-growing list of accessories. These scooter trailers are designed to easily and efficiently load a scooter or power chair all the while maintaining safety standards wherever they go. Top Mobility has four scooter trailers from which to choose: the EZ Tow, Yuppie Wagon, ScootaTrailer, and the Pulmor. All these mobility trailers offer users something different.

EZ Tow – The EZ Tow is an enclosed scooter trailer that is easy to assemble and easy to attach. This scooter trailer is big enough to load and unload several electric scooters and power chairs. The dimensions are 6-foot long and 4-feet wide inside and outside, giving it enough room to maneuver in a power chair or scooter. With a 1000-pound weight limit it can easily hold a scooter or power chair along with various accessories. The EZ Tow trailer can mount to any sized vehicle so it is not necessary to get a vehicle to fit the needs of the trailer. Those users who are color-conscious, there are nine different colors from which to choose.

Yuppie Wagon – This wagon is lightweight and can be towed by a compact car. The molding involved with the Yuppie Wagon is rotational molding. This kind of molding strengthens the trailer and allows it to have much more longevity than others. It is can also hold many scooters and power chairs without damaging them. Also an enclosed trailer, the Yuppie Wagon has a 7-foot interior length. The tongue weight on the trailers is a mere 46 pounds, making that a safety mechanism for its users. Complete weight of the trailer (as it stands hollow) is 460 pounds. This trailer is also 4-feet by 7-feet, but has a wide open interior.

Scoota Trailer – The lightweight ScootaTrailer weighs in at an astonishing 285 pounds without a scooter or power chair on it. It only adds approximately 35 pounds on the trailer hitch causing less strain and adding more power to your drive. Users or user companions will not experience a drastic difference while driving. Loading and unloading is easy as this trailer is a mere 9-inches off the ground. The lip will not allow the trailer as a whole to dip during the loading and unloading process. This scooter is one of the smallest scooter trailers but it is equally effective. It’s bed length is 5-feet giving it the clearance for many scooters or power chairs. Its tire size is a breath taking 4.8 X 12.

Pulmor – The Pulmor is a very low profile, aerodynamic trailer. The advantage to having low profile trailers is that it is keeps the trailer (and by extension the vehicle) stable while riding. That in turn keeps the cargo in the trailer. With a weather-resistant coating the Pulmor can survive any environment for any period of time. Because it is enclosed, users can keep their scooter or power chair in their scooter trailer. The payload capacity is 1000 pounds and that easily loads the majority of scooters and power chairs – and other mobility devices. All lighting on the trailers is Department of Transportation authorized giving the driver assurance that it is. Bed dimensions for the Pulmor is 70” X 40” X 20”.
