Miami, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 09/23/2011 -- We are honored to welcome back Peter M. Robles, Aquos Entertainment Group CEO, from his journey to Jerusalem with the invited celebrity group. Robles and the team had the opportunity to travel the vast territory and visit monumental locations. The group has returned with many stories and updates of their voyage for family, friends, and the media. We feel privileged to share details and news of Robles ventures and experiences throughout his time in Israel.

Shortly after arriving from Israel, Robles mentioned what an amazing experience he had in Jerusalem with the group of celebrity and entertainment professionals from the United States. Celebrities such as, Kellan Lutz, “Twilight” series movie star, Latin singers Carolina La O and Didier Hernandez, and Miguel Ferrer, film and television actor, were among the stars Robles mingled with during his visit. The trip was sponsored by the organization, America’s Voices, based in Israel, to receive a tour of the country, as well as meet political, cultural, business and scientific leaders.

On the first day in Jerusalem, the group attended “Not be Bread Alone”, an award winning play at the Tel Aviv Nalagat Theatre in the old city of Jaffa. Followed by a fascinating conference by General Yossi Kuperwaser, Director General of the Ministry of Strategic Affairs, informed the fellow group on the geo-political situation in the Mid East. “It was insightful and most interesting,” said Robles. After the meeting the group went on a tour of the old city of Jaffa, where they visited art galleries, boutiques and tasted some of the local cuisine at one of the many sidewalk cafes.

After a delightful evening, the team had dinner at the Eucalyptus Restaurant. They were greeted by Master Chef Moshe Basson, who explained his unique menu replete with the seven spices of the Holy Land, which he buys daily from the local markets. That following day the group set out to the Golan Heights. Upon arrival, they received a full briefing on the political situation in Syria and Lebanon, and ended their visit with a zip line ride down the mountain. In addition, the group took a tour of Masada and the Dead Sea where they covered themselves in the location’s mineral rich mud. Shortly after, they headed back to Jerusalem.

Subsequent to speaking in a press conference at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem last week, Lutz said, “I felt like I was a Beatles member,” after being swarmed by thirty young girls who had been waiting for him outside the Inbal Hotel. He graciously posed for all their pictures and even mocked a vampire biting one of their necks. Later that evening dinner reservations were made Darna, a Moroccan style restaurant in the heart of downtown Jerusalem. The group was given a VIP tour in which they visited the Western Wall Tunnel.

“Words cannot describe the experience I had as I explored the excavations underneath the Western Wall. Hidden layers of the “Wall” were revealed underground. The “Wall” tells the story of ancient Jerusalem and of generations longing it,” Said Robles.

Robles went onto another private meeting with Rabbi Rabinovitch, the rabbi of the Western Wall. There, they discussed the importance of the “Universal God” that hears all mankind’s prayers. His words were warm and heartfelt. The group then visited the City of David where they received a tour of the Biblical Jerusalem in which, they came in contact with archaeological excavations and thrilling biblical finds that span thousands of years of history including both the first and second Temple of Jerusalem. In addition, they walked through the original aqueduct from King Hezekiah in ankle deep water. The 2,700-year-old water tunnel is one of the wonders of early engineering. The team then went to the Holocaust Museum of Yad Vashem. According to Robles, learning about the destruction of European Jewry was a very impactful and moving experience after discovering that Dominican Republic was the only country in the Western world that welcomed Jewish refugees. A closing dinner was held later that night with the Master Chef of the Inbal Hotel.

About America’s Voices
The America's Voices organization is on the forefront of Israel's “hasbara” (public relations) efforts. Sending American radio talk-show hosts to Israel gives them the opportunity to share with listeners the realities of the situation on the ground. When America's Voices hosts are not in our state-of-the-art Jerusalem Studio delivering cutting edge programming about Israel, they are busy taking guided tours throughout the country to experience typical Jewish life firsthand. The organization’s broadcasters are exposed to all facets of Israeli society. They tour the country and meet political, cultural, business and scientific leaders. Additionally, they acquire a direct understanding of Israel, which they are then able to transmit to their American audiences.
