MMI Public Relations Honored by the National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere

Local Public Relations Firm Receives Gary N. Brown 2011 Outstanding Volunteer Award

 

Raleigh, NC -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/17/2011 -- Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Public Relations (http://www.mmipublicrelations.com), a Raleigh-based full-service public relations firm, has announced that the firm has been recognized by the National Association of Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) with the Gary N. Brown 2011 Outstanding Volunteer Award. The award is presented each year to an organization that provides outstanding service to and support of SAVE’s vision, mission and goals. SAVE strives to decrease violence in schools and communities by promoting student involvement, education and service in order to provide safer environments for youth. MMI Public Relations has donated space for the organization to host board meetings, as well as public relations expertise and resources to student leaders. Kate Catlin, senior account manager at MMI, is a member of the National SAVE board of directors and has been an ambassador for the organization since 2007.
