Pittsburgh, PA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/25/2011 -- MINI of Pittsburgh is proud to announce that they are helping host the gyMINIkhana 2011 event on Sunday, October 23, 2011. The driving event is being held at BeaveRun Motorsports Complex in Wampum, PA, northwest of Pittsburgh.

A gymkhana is known as an automotive athletic event with plenty of fun for all as drivers get to weave their car through a designated course for prizes! The gyMINIkhana is primarily dedicated to MINI vehicles on the course. The 2011 gyMINIkhana is the fifth occurrence of the fun event.

The gyMINIkhana will get underway on Sunday, October 23 starting at 8am. MINI owners can bring their vehicle from 8am-11am. Non-MINI owners are welcomed to bring their vehicle to the course from 11am-4pm.

Participants can register online at http://www.PittStopMINI.org for the event. The event fee is $10 per driver and proceeds will be donated to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Charities. Breakfast and lunch is included in the registration as well.
