Taxi of Tomorrow Design Expo is being hosted by Nissan in New York City and will give residents their first opportunity to see what the Nissan NV200 taxi will look like.
Syosset, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/28/2011 -- Legend Nissan is pleased to announce that Nissan will be hosting the Taxi of Tomorrow Design Expo in New York City from November 1-5, 2011.
The expo will have the Nissan NV200 on display for residents to experience for the first time.
The expo is being held at Broadway and Fifth Avenue, across from the Flatiron building on the pedestrian plaza. The exhibit will be open to the public Tuesday, November 1, Noon until 9 p.m, Wednesday, November 2 through Friday, November 4, 8 a.m.-9 p.m., and Saturday, November 5, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Visitors to the exhibit will be able to experience all of the futuristic cab interior features that the NV200 has to offer. The Nissan NV200 highlights are the ample interior lighting, increased legroom, odor and bacteria fighting material, and many more features designed to cater to New York City residents. The Nissan NV200 was selected in May 2011 to be the exclusive Taxi of Tomorrow for New York City. The NV200 will be servicing the streets starting in late 2013.
The selection comes after a long-term investment by Nissan to design the ultimate taxi cab for the city starting back in 2007. After numerous studies and endless research and input from cab owners, passengers, and New York City residents, Nissan designed the NV200 to answer the future of taxi cabs.
