London, England -- (SBWIRE) --11/08/2011 -- Top Indian restaurants in London don’t get much better than The Cinnamon Club, renowned far and wide as being the place to go for modern Indian cuisine. And with everything enjoyed within the sumptuous surroundings of the Grade II-listed former Westminster library – think white-clothed tables, leather-backed chairs and wall of books that alludes to the space’s former guise – diners are truly in for a treat.

Never one to be left on the sidelines, The Cinnamon Club is joining in with the 2011 London Restaurant Festival celebrations: running from 3rd to 17th October, diners can expect a fortnight of fabulous fare from executive chef and founder Vivek Singh. We wouldn’t expect anything less! No wonder The Cinnamon Club is consistently ranked among the top Indian restaurants in London.

Marking the occasion will be a delicately-spiced, two-course Indian meal for just £20 per person. The perfect recession-buster, if ever there was one! Offerings include roasted plaice with Bengali-spiced crab to start, Welsh lamb fillet with nutmeg and sesame tamarind sauce for main, and a chocolate and cumin tart with ginger-ice cream for dessert. And with a menu as mouthwatering as that, The Cinnamon Club is fully expecting a sell out with bums-on-every-seat.

Afterwards, diners can descend the stairs to The Cinnamon Club’s very own destination bar: serving up a cool collection of exotic cocktails in equally as stylish surroundings, it’s the perfect way to wash everything down afterwards.
