To mark the celebration, a specially designed program will commence on the 24th that lasts until the 1st of January, 2012. Exciting events are planned throughout, including sports activities, delicious feasts and also merry games for children.
The program is lined up with treats for adults and children alike. The program starts off with a unique High Tea, with the selection being filled up with familiar Christmas treats.
Athletic abilities will be tested as Guest Teams go against Kuramathi Team members whilst engaging in Football and Volleyball. The traditional French game: Pétanque will also make its first mark at Kuramathi.
A grand Christmas dinner invites you over to an eclectic display of delicious feasts from all over the world. Fruit carvings, gingerbread houses and crafty food designs are concealed within the restaurant. Let’s also not forget the conventional Christmas movie that would be aired under the starlit sky, on the beach.
For children, it’s all about celebrating the occasion with fun and merriment with treasure hunts, decorating gingerbread men, and discovering new skills as you create Maldivian handicraft and your own facemasks for the New Year party!
Lovers have the opportunity to indulge in private dining experiences, as they are available on request every day. A special sunset cruise dedicated for couples, showcase Maldivian drumming or ‘Boduberu’ giving off an extra twist while you gaze at the auburn sunset. Entertainment takes place regularly with the live band, DJ and the acoustic duo performing at the 3 bars around the island.
