Coaching Fundamentals
This is similar to the certificate program except that there is also a three day face-to-face workshop where most of the material is covered. This is because many people do not like total distance learning and like to have a face-to-face element. The participants still get the material that students on the certificate program get the training manual, the handbook, the sets of CDs and audios they also get another training manual when they attend a three-day workshop . The three-day workshop has an extra module in which other people on the certificate program do not get.

It has to do with coaching in the workplace for managers. The three-day workshop is not residential, so there is no accommodation or a lunch. However, Noble Manhattan provides refreshments, for example teas and coffees and biscuits. Currently, the company is also in the process of speaking to the ILM with a view to getting it accredited by them in the near future.

About Gerard O’Donovan
After 9 years in the Royal Marines, Gerard started his business career in financial services. He founded and developed his own company which became the largest privately owned life assurance organisation in the UK.

He found himself working around the clock and ultimately realized that things had to change. After searching through many self improvement disciplines, Gerard found that life coaching worked for him. It was the “hub that held the rest of the disciplines together”.

In 1993 Gerard, from Bantry, County Cork, who has a Masters degree in Psychology, went on to found Noble Manhattan which to date has trained over 7000 coaches.
