For DVD Replication Go to VDC Group

VDC Group Head of Sales Mike Seaman is confident his company provides the top DVD replication service in the UK.

London, England -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/20/2012 -- The group, which has thirty years of experience in the replication and duplication business to base their confidence on, are coming from a strong standpoint of experience and skill in the field.

Mr Seaman said: “We are no fly by night company but have decades of experience and knowledge to build on. Customers can trust us. They come back to us time and again because they know they are getting the benefit of years of expertise with their project.

“As a company we are conscious that every project is unique. Some will have more challenges than others but at VDC Group we are famous for never letting a customer down either in terms of quality or timing. Our aim is to never miss a deadline.”

Clients use DVDs to display their goods and services in film or documentary format. Many say it is easier to ‘show rather than tell’. It is also more entertaining and less taxing to watch a film than read a script so is a popular way of advertising and promoting.

The actual method of creating a DVD involves creating a glass master copy of the original DVD master. A stamper is then used as a base to provide hundreds or thousands of identical versions.

A DVD is created from two layers of data bonded together, thereby allowing more data to be stored (14 times more than on an actual CD). Images or text can then be stamped on the physical disc itself. Editing techniques, completed in a studio, can also involve adding menus, sub-titles or music to the DVD.

DVD replication can be costed per item which means that large orders are cheaper as unit costs come down considerably in terms of the more produced the lower the cost per unit.

For orders less than 500 DVD duplication is by far the most inexpensive option. This means transferring data directly onto the DVD using software. It costs less because no glass master copy is necessary. As a result it can also be produced at a far quicker rate, sometimes in a matter of 24 to 48 hours.

VDC Group can provide what is known as a one-stop-shop solution to CD &DVD replication in London or elsewhere in the UK.

For instance, as well as copying the DVD or CD the company will also print and provide customised design and packaging needs. They will also distribute the items or store them depending on their customer’s needs at the time.

At VDC Group and beyond the company is well known for its flexible approach to clients allowing them to securely log-in to the website and track the progress of individual orders for themselves. Ordering and cancelling of projects can also be completed directly via the website giving clients more control of their order.
