The roof planks also use tongue-and-groove construction, with laminated beams and moisture-resistant chipboard that coordinates with the owner's finish of choice. Bitumen roofing shingles reinforced with glassfibre are secured with galvanised staple fixings and meet all building regulations. The log cabin's interior is treated with water-based stain coat. The heartwood exterior surface receives two external coats of natural oil-based stain.

The new luxury log cabins feature high efficiency Low 'E' double glazed doors and windows with laminated softwood frames. High-security locks protect exterior doors and windows. The interior has strong latches and locks on pine panel doors.
