Cleveland, OH -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/21/2012 -- Leikin Motor Companies of Cleveland is announcing the arrival of the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class. This Mercedes-benz model is a sport sedan that includes high performance, high safety features, and sleek styling. The C-Class sedan is available in six trim levels: C250 Luxury, C250 Sport, C300 Luxury, C300 Sport, C350 and C63 AMG. The C250, C300, and C63 AMG are all available as a coupe or sedan.

The 2012 C250 Luxury and Sport editions both have a 1.8-liter Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine generating 201 horsepower. Both trims receive 21 miles per gallon in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.

The 2012 Mercedes Benz C300 Luxury and C300 Sport both feature a 3.0-liter V6 that generates 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The C300 Luxury comes standard with a seven-speed automatic transmission and a six speed manual is standard on the C300 Sport. An all-wheel-drive system, called 4Matic, is available on both. The C350 has the same styling as the sport, but has a 3.5-liter V6 producing 268 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque and the seven-speed automatic transmission.

The top of the line 2012 C-Class trim level is the C63 AMG. It is a high performance sports edition that includes a 6.2 V8 engine generating 451 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque. The C63 is also a seven-speed and accelerates to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. This trim includes a wider front track, upgraded steering, suspension, brakes and seats, and different styling.

Every 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes standard with stability and traction control, antilock brakes, a driver knee airbag, front side thorax airbags, front side pelvic airbags and full-length curtain airbags. Also standard is Mercedes Attention Assist, which monitors the driver for signs of drowsiness and inattention. Rear side thorax airbags are standard on the coupe and optional on the sedan. Other safety-oriented options include the Lane Tracking package -- which adds a blind-spot warning system and a lane-departure warning system -- and Mercedes-Benz mbrace emergency telematics.
