All major vehicle systems, including brakes, engine, drivetrain, steering, suspension, tires, wheels, exhaust system and the vehicle’s interior and exterior, are examined thoroughly. Any component that does not meet Honda’s standards are reconditioned or replaced with a Genuine Honda part.

Trickett Honda also runs a CARFAX Vehicle History Report, at no cost to the customer, on every Honda Certified Used Vehicle to ensure there are no DMV-reported incidents such as salvage, fire, flood damage, odometer problems or lemon history on the vehicle. In addition, Honda Certified Used Cars comes with one of the most extensive used car warranties in the industry, covering all major engine and transmission components. Trickett Honda will repair or replace, with a $0 deductible, any covered part that is defective and covered under the warranty program. Items covered for seven years or 100,000 miles from the vehicle’s original in-service date are the engine, drive system and transmission. Non-powertrain items, such as the fuel system, air conditioning and electrical systems, are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles from the original warranty expiration date or, if the original warranty has expired, from the Honda Certified Used Cars purchase date.
