Herb's Paint & Body annual charity tournament benefitting the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas raised over sixty thousand dollars for people with down syndrome and their families.
Dallas, TX -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/27/2012 -- Brainstorming for a way to entertain and connect to customers, and altruistically contribute to the community, Herb’s Paint and Body, a Dallas auto body shop http://www.herbspaintandbody.com/, conceived the Charity Golf Tournament. This year, the tournament benefited the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas, the only non-profit organization dedicated solely to the care of individuals with Down Syndrome and their families.

Since 1993, Herb’s has held the Charity Golf Tournament, and over the past 14 years has raised over a quarter of a million dollars for MADD (Mother Against Drunk Driving) through donations of generous players and sponsors. In 2011, Herb’s Paint & Body Down Syndrome Guild Golf Classic http://www.herbspaintandbody.com/golf.asp was held at Canyon Creek Country Club raising over $60, 000 dollars. Proceeds from the tourney were raised for the long-term growth of the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas.
