Grand Rapids, MI -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/09/2012 -- Financial advisor Dennis Tubbergen is becoming well known in western Michigan for the guest experts he hosts on his weekly talk show, The Everything Financial Radio Show. Lately Tubbergen has been hosting some best-selling authors, including his next guest, Robert Prechter, Jr.

Prechter is an American author and stock market analyst known for his financial forecasts using the Elliott wave principle. Prechter’s 2002 book Conquer the Crash – You Can Survive and Prosper in a Deflationary Crash and Depression should provide ample food for thought as Tubbergen and Prechter discuss the current economic climate in the U.S. and the world.

Prechter is the founder and president of Elliott Wave International and is the author and co-author of 14 books.

Tubbergen, who is CEO of USA Wealth Management, LLC in Grand Rapids, Michigan, has discussed the topic of deflation extensively in his online blog and his Moving Markets weekly newsletter.

In his blog posted February 29, 2012, Tubbergen reviews some thoughts by John Mauldin in one of Mauldin’s recent Thoughts from the Front Line newsletter regarding the U.S. federal deficit and debt.

“I agree with Mauldin in that the deficit is the number one issue,” Tubbergen states in his blog. “As I’ve previously stated, we all can agree that we can’t continue to run these monster deficits indefinitely without some ugly economic consequences. The only question is how long we can continue to limp along before the bond markets say ‘enough is enough’ and interest rates spike.”

According to Tubbergen, at that point we either become Greece and implement severe austerity measures or run the printing presses and destroy the dollar.
