Congressman Huizenga was born and raised in Zeeland, Michigan where he resides with his wife, Natalie, and their five children. He first served in public office in 2002 when he was elected to serve the southern portion of Ottawa County, Michigan’s 90th District, in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Huizenga received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Calvin College and worked in the private sector as a realtor and entrepreneur. As co-owner of Huizenga Gravel, Inc. in Jenison, he feels he understands the regulatory and tax issues small business owners face.

Tubbergen, who is CEO of USA Wealth Management, LLC, an author and a radio show host, frequently discusses political issues in his online financial blog and his Moving Markets weekly newsletter.
