Huron, OH -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/09/2012 -- Affiliate marketers creating bogus product reviews on the Internet will now be highly scrutinized for the legitimacy of their content by the users of a new site developed by SwizzMagik LLC. By developing a site that targets generic content and filters out the garbage, consumers have a resource to determine the legitimacy of a given product or marketer based on specific research and metrics. This site maintains a black list and a white list of many of the top information product distributors available, with the intent of informing consumers of illegitimate business online.

Over 79% of information product review sites on the web have been found to contain biased content and/or unsubstantiated claims (this figure is based on independent research that went into the development of the site concept). Any consumer who is interested in an information product has no easy way to finding out if the product will work the way it is advertised, or if it is simply another phony marketing scheme.

The purpose of this press release is to invite potential contributors to solicit their product reviews to this new directory. Honest reviews of products are welcome additions to the site, and legitimate marketers and product evaluators are encouraged to submit links to their content. All product reviews listed on the site are moderated by a team of analysts with the task of eliminating phony content and preventing fraud.
