Noida, Uttar Pradesh -- (SBWIRE) -- 04/25/2012 -- G-Cube announced that it has successfully won the contract for developing a complete educational portal for a prestigious university. The portal will be developed based on G-Cube’s proprietary learning suite WiZDOM Learning Management System.
Under the contract, G-Cube will implement the WiZDOM Learning Suite which includes a Virtual Class Room, an LMS, an Assessment Engine, and a Social Learning platform. G-Cube will also integrate a third-party Content Authoring Tool with the portal. The LMS will include a Students Help Desk Software for students to post their questions and queries to the university staff.
The solution will be used by thousands of students who join the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) at University for accessing quality education through the Distance Learning Mode. Using the solution, students can access the university’s e-Learning courses, attend virtual classes, take assessments associated with various courses, and connect via social networks, as well as seek all kinds support from the university staff.
The content authoring system integrated with the portal would allow members of the faculty to develop new courses quickly using the existing material. The solution is also integrated with SAP Student CRM for seamless functioning of the university.
The implementation of the solution has empowered the University to become one of the most technologically advanced institutes in India that harnesses the power of Distance Learning Programs to impart knowledge.
