Minooka, IL -- (SBWIRE) -- 06/14/2012 -- The introduction of PairShare music sharing app is probably one of the answers of iPhone and iPod users to the tiny audience of Microsoft’s Zune after it was a released a couple of months ago. The small gap was suddenly closed after they released this new application on Apple’s App Store.
Last March, 2011, Apple made another move to help close the gap about the missing feature that a lot of iOS users wanted to have. When Microsoft’s Zune was introduced, the users of iPhone, iPod and iPad started looking for the same application on the App Store of Apple. After the release of Microsoft’s Zune, experts decided to create a new application that is more powerful and flexible than Zune. This is the reason why PairShare was introduced on the market.
The new iPhone app is one of the efforts of the company to remove the unhygienic practice of sharing music with their friends through earphone sharing or excessive use of loud speakers. These kinds of practices have been a tradition ever since the use of ear phones became popular. They wanted to change these practices and provide a better way to share their favorite songs and play lists to their friends without the need to share ear phones or use loud speakers.
Recently, the application was also listed among the top 500 Apps in the Sunday Times Applist for 2012. According to Ben Tyler, this app can enable the user to ditch the “one earphone each” kind of sharing method by replacing it with a new one with the use of Bluetooth to help connect them to a friend’s iPod or iPhone. The application actually has a free version that allows the user to share one song at a time. The album artwork and the details of the song are actually visible on both devices. The application will prompt the user to upgrade but the 69p upgrade is really something since it will allow the users to share an entire playlist instead of sharing one song at a time.
Last March, 2012, the application announced that they will now support Podcasts and Audibooks. It means that the application can now be synchronized with Podcasts and Audiobooks allowing the iPhone, iPod and iPad users to share their music wirelessly on these new devices. They now support live streaming of Podcast and Audiobook files to PairShare devices through the use of Bluetooth.
A lot of analysts said that the new application is very flexible. They already said that in the near future, more devices will be added on their list making it the universal music sharing application for different devices. As of now, they are doing it step by step. Small updates and improvements are better than simply making one huge improvement into one. People are always looking for new things so one feature at a time can be a great help to suppress their cravings for more updates and features in the future.
As of now, the recent added feature of the application is the enablement of music sharing in Podcast and Audiobook.
