The students eligible to apply for this course are the ones havind cleared AIEEE and 60% in 12th with Non Medical stream. Mechatronics is the combination of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, control engineering, systems design engineering, and computer engineering to create useful products. This combination of Mechanical and Electronical Engineering serves the purpose of controlling advanced hybrid systems. Modern day examples of such systems are Computers, Disk drives, Photocopiers, Fax machines, VCR, Washing machines, CNC machine tools etc. Today’s latest cars are also mechatronics product with the usage of electronic engine management system, collision detection, global positioning system, and others.

The future of Mechatronics is also very bright. It plays a large role in the use of robotics and medical field to assist with efficiency, productivity, accountability and control. Robots not only master repetitive and dangerous tasks, but they do it low cost and with lower margins of error. Instead of building a computer to run a machine, mechatronics will help make the computer a part of the machine that builds a product. “It is a small effort from the side of Mullana University to contribute towards the growth and development of the country” added Mr. Garg.
