Norwich, UK -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/09/2009 -- Any parents with young children know exactly how much kids love a trip to the beach. Recently, parents of six youngsters were lucky enough to get a family trip to the beach as part of a photo shoot for UK children's clothing company Vintage Kit.

The shoot took place on the beach in Brighton where the children, most of whom were working as a model for the first time, got to try on different clothes, play together, and even eat ice cream as part of their big day out.

The young models were provided by Models Direct, one of the UK's largest modelling agencies. Models Direct specialises in having models of all ages, shapes, and sizes on its books.

The proud parents were very happy with their kids start to their modelling careers. Linzey Hill from West Sussex, mother of four year old Jessica said that her daughter had a wonderful time playing on the beach and made friends with the other models. “The client and her family were all very nice people, and the clothes were beautiful, very good quality,” said Linzey. “Jessica had to play with the other models on Brighton pier, on the beach and on the carousel.”

Maxine Trent's two year old son Keoni was also one of the stars of the day. After the shoot, Maxine said that she was “very excited and pleased at how well Keoni did on his first modeling assignment.”

“Keoni had to play with other older children on the pier and the beach, and he had three outfit changes,” said Maxine. “Models Direct provided contact all the way through so we knew everything we had to do and bring.”

Both parents were very happy that their children had really enjoyed their first experience of becoming a model. Vintage Kit use mostly eco-friendly UK made fabrics. Their designs are intended to be reminiscent of childhood memories, conjuring up days of long summer holidays and crispy cold wintery days.
