Michael Nappi’s New Single 7:26 Out Now

DEBUT ALBUM HERE WE GO AGAIN RECEIVES INDUSTRY ACCLAIM NEW YORK CITY AND PHILADELPHIA DATES CONFIRMED

Larchmont, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/21/2009 -- Out now on West Avenue Records, the single “7:26” from Michael Nappi’s debut album Here We Go Again. Recorded with producer/songwriter Steve Buonanotte, Here We Go Again was mixed by Grammy Award-winning mix engineer, Jeff Juliano (John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews Band). On October 26th Nappi will be performing on NBC 10’s “The 10! Show” in Philadelphia and in New York City on October 28th at The Red Lion (please see below for details).

“Michael Nappi writes one heck of a song…chock full of hooks and memorable melodies. We're excited that a local guy has given us a song that we wouldn’t be surprised to hear on one of the big NYC stations,” praises Chris Herrmann, Program Director of 107.1 The Peak/WXPK-FM New York. Mike Mullaney, Music Director of Boston’s Mix 104.1/WBMX-FM declares, “The songwriting and production are excellent. Major labels should be looking at him.”

Created from a collection of personal stories, Here We Go Again showcases Nappi's dynamic range as a singer and songwriter. He shares his journey through insightful lyrics while transitioning from acoustic-based ballads to pop/rock anthems. Nappi credits this versatile sound to the artistic chemistry between himself and Buonanotte.

“In a world and time of music that is driven by many depressed first and last name singer/songwriters, it was extremely refreshing to hear and have worked with Michael's music,” states mix engineer Jeff Juliano. “His vocal abilities are stellar and he is certainly not afraid to write a pop radio hook that ya still find yourself singing at the end of the day.”

Nappi’s passion for music began at an early age with his introduction to his father’s vintage LPs that included The Beatles, Johnny Cash and Elvis. Inspired and armed with a trumpet from his fourth-grade music class, Nappi’s budding showmanship blossomed when he began serenading his neighbors from the family’s front porch. By his mid-teens he was an accomplished musician, composing, recording and performing his own music locally. On his career Nappi concludes, “Whether it’s been to five people slung over their bar stools or to sold out crowds in 5,000-seat theaters, I’ve always considered it a privilege to work as a musician.”
