Digital Signage Expo 2010 Debuts Content University

Digital Signage Expo's Content University will address the challenge inherent in planning, developing and managing content for digital signage installations.

 

Atlanta, GA -- (SBWIRE) -- 10/28/2009 -- Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest International Tradeshow and Conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and out-of-home networks, will present a Content University Seminar Program at its Conference Program scheduled for February 23-25, 2010, in Las Vegas.

The Content University will be presented as one of the total eight tracks available at DSE’s Conference. Each track will address five topical issues related to the challenge of successfully planning, creating and managing content for both Communications-based and Advertising-based Digital Out-of-Home Networks. Curricula will be offered both for attendees who require an in-depth and intelligent “Introduction” to these topics, as well as separate “Advanced” level sessions designed for those with more than two years of digital signage industry-related experience.

The faculty and seminar topics slated for the Content University track include:

• Lowe’s Companies’ Senior Marketing, New Business Development Specialist, Justin Carl, and Proscenium Partners’ Executive Creative Director, Jeff McQueen will both be part of a roundtable discussion on “Contextual Content: It’s All About Relevance.”
• Tracy Locke’s President/COO, Beth Ann Kaminkow and Show & Tell’s President, Phil Lenger will co-present, “4Screen Campaigns: Putting Our Money Where Our Mouth Is.”
• Megaphone’s Chief Operating Officer, Jim Bell and DOOHit Digital’s Co-founder, Vice President of Business Development, Lisa Katz will co-present, “The Latest & Greatest: Creative Meets Emerging Media.”
• St. Joseph’s Content’s Vice President, Business Development, Mark Zwicker and Dawson & Company’s Principal, Carre Dawson, will co-present, “Content Dollars & Sense: Cost-Effective Resources for Out-of-Home Content Creation & Management.”
• Jones Digital Media’s Owner, Executive Creative Director, “Dylan Jones, Creative Realities’ Vice President Program Management, Robin Rearton, and Retail Entertainment Design’s President, Brian Hirsh, will all be part of a Creative Director’s panel discussion on “Successful Approaches to Content Design for Digital OOH Networks.”
