Victoria Theatre Association Presents Doktor Kaboom

A show featuring science for the kid in all of us!

 

Dayton, OH -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/21/2010 -- Victoria Theatre Association’s Young at Heart Family Series presents a side-splitting, yet educational and interactive, Doktor Kaboom!, January 23 and 24, 2010 at the historic Victoria Theatre. Performance times are 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. Come out early and enjoy special pre-show lobby activities, beginning one hour prior to each performance.

Doktor Kaboom! takes audiences on an amazing educational tour of the modern scientific method by using humor and comedy, all the while demonstrating spectacular applications of the physical sciences. Doktor Kaboom! leaves his audiences thoroughly fulfilled and cheering for more.

A creation of Yellow Springs, OH native David Epley, Doktor Kaboom! is an interactive one-man science variety show that creatively blends theatre arts with the wonders of scientific exploration. His program keeps crowds of all ages riveted and looking forward to the next experiment—because they might be in it! Doktor Kaboom is known for including Mom, Dad, the kids or even Grandma in his experiments.

Tickets are priced at a family friendly $19 for adults and $17 for children (ages 12 and under). Tickets are on sale now through Ticket Center Stage, and may be purchased at the Schuster Center box office in downtown Dayton or by phone, at (937) 228-3630 or toll free (888) 228-3630. Ticket Center Stage hours are Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday, noon - 4 p.m., and two hours prior to each performance.
