The District at Tustin Legacy Announces Center Wide Scavenger Hunt in Celebration of Valentine’s Day

Couples Invited to Team Up for an Amazing Race TV Show-Inspired Competition throughout the Popular Shopping Center

 

Tustin, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/09/2010 -- The District at Tustin Legacy, Orange County’s newest shopping and entertainment destination, today announced it will be hosting a competitive scavenger hunt in celebration of Valentine’s Day, offering couples the chance to complete for a pair of his-and-hers Nirve Beach Cruisers. Open to couples ages 21 and older, the scavenger hunt will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13, beginning at noon, at The District Stage located in The District Promenade near Borders Books & Music.

“The scavenger hunt will allow couples to work together in celebration of Valentine’s Day in an event inspired by The Amazing Race television show by utilizing their communication skills to navigate around the many amenities, stores and restaurants of The District at Tustin Legacy,” says Kimberly Daskas, director of marketing and strategic sponsorship.

Beginning today, The District is inviting local couples via Facebook to join forces and participate in the event. The first 10 couples to qualify will be selected to participate in the competition. The participating couples will meet at The District Stage, just in front of Borders Books & Music, where they will be provided with a set of instructions, clues and other items necessary for them to compete. The first couple to successfully complete all items on the list will win the beach cruisers. Other prizes will be provided by The District’s participating stores and restaurants.
