The author of the book, Yuri Iserlis, is an expert in artificial intelligence. He graduated from St-Petersburg Polytechnic State University (Russia) as mechanical engineer in 1961, and completed his postgraduate studies at St-Petersburg Marine Technical University in 1972. He has worked as designer, researcher, analyst and scientist in various industries, education and medicine. Dr. Iserlis founded and operated the company, Intellectual System, Inc., in St-Petersburg, Russia, from 1992 to 1996, where he developed some real-time industrial intellectual systems. In 1996, Dr. Iserlis immigrated in the USA, and in 2002 founded his latest company, Clever Ace, in San Jose, California.
