Madurai, Tamil Nadu -- (SBWIRE) -- 02/11/2010 -- TwitMdu 2010, first Twitter camp that was scheduled to take place on Sunday, February 21, 2010 has been postponed to Sunday, March 21, 2010, 2010, due to overwhelming response from the tweeps all over South Tamilnadu. Dot Com Infoway will also be the host and technology sponsor to the postponed event and Galtta Media will be organizing the event.

According to a statement released by the Twitter camp organizers, "The postponement was decided due to a dramatic increase in Twitter camp related queries from the tweeps all over South India and their requests to postpone the event to the beginning season of summer holidays. Most of the tweeps are eager to participate in this unique first-time event in Madurai”

Also, the statement said the Twitter camp speakers and participants were expected to come from number of adjacent districts. "The main conference will run on March 21, 2010 at the office premises of Dot Com Infoway Ltd, facilitated by renowned Twitter speakers and famous Tweeps" the statement said.
