“Motorsports as been good for our brand so far, and to have the opportunity to give back to the sport by supporting a program such as Alex Job Racing was an easy decision to make for us as a company,” said Mike Prelec Sr., President and CEO of Deltran Battery Tender Corporation. “The teams’ return to the series that they've been so successful with for so long means the potential for great results both on and off the track for Batter Tender. We're looking forward to a fantastic 2010 racing season.”

The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring presented by Fresh from Florida, America’s greatest sports car race, starts at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday. The No. 23 Battery Tender/Patrón/Alex Job Racing/Porsche 911 GT3 Cup entry will be driven by Romeo Kapudija, Jan-Dirks Lueders, and Bill Sweedler. This marks the return of Alex Job Racing to the American Lemans Series after a three-year absence.

Kapudija's racing resume includes the GRAND-AM Series, top 10 finishes at Sebring in the ALMS, as well as starts in the Toyota Atlantic Series. “Sebring has always been one of my favorite tracks,” said Driver Romeo Kapudija. “The 12 hours has such great energy about it, and have I've done pretty well here in the past. I'm happy to campaign the Alex Job Racing Porsche 997 GT3 Cup car for the 2010 season, and to be in the car carrying the #23 that AJR made famous with all those wins and championships is a true honor for me personally. I would like to thank Alex Job for the opportunity, the team sponsors Battery Tender and Patron Tequila for their support of the Alex Job Racing effort this season, and my management team and fans for their continued support.”

American Le Mans Series and Sebring first timer Lueders talks about the opportunity “Sebring is one of the most demanding circuits I’ve been on. There is a steep learning curve in not just coming to terms with the track layout, but also the bumpy surface. It can feel like a rodeo ride out there with the track trying to buck you off. In all, I couldn’t be happier to make my series and race debut with such a great and proven team like AJR and with an excellent cast of drivers such as Romeo Kapudija and Bill Sweedler.”
