P1 Groupe Drivers Finish Strong At Mobile 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring

Romeo Kapudija Along with Sebring First Timer Jan-Dirk Lueders Finish 2nd Place Alex Job Racing Wins 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Tom Weickardt Finishes Fourth In LMPC Class

 

Altamonte Springs, FL -- (SBWIRE) -- 03/26/2010 -- P1 Groupe, the premier motorsport management company is proud to announce that its drivers Romeo Kapudija along with Sebring first timer, Jan-Dirk Lueders finished 2nd place at the 58th Mobile One Twelve Hours of Sebring. Tom Weickardt, another rising star finished 4th in the LMPC class. It was a strong weekend for the return of the Alex Job team to the American Lemans Series sweeping first, second, and third place finishes. In addition to the drivers, DelTran Battery Tender Corporation went to Sebring for the first-time as one of the premier sponsors for Alex Job Racing.

The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring was presented by Fresh from Florida and is America’s greatest sports car race. The No. 23 Battery Tender/Patrón/Alex Job Racing/Porsche 911 GT3 Cup driven by Romeo Kapudija, Jan-Dirks Lueders, and Bill Sweedler finished in second place. This capped a triumphant return to Sebring by Kapudija, whose racing resume includes the GRAND-AM Series, top 10 finishes at Sebring in the ALMS, as well as starts in the Toyota Atlantic Series. For Lueders, this was his first American Lemans Series and first time racing at Sebring, which is considered the premiere event of the American Lemans Series. Tom Weickardt returned to the American Lemans Series after a four year absence and drove the No. 11 LMPC Prototype for Primetime Race Group with Joel Feinberg and Kyle Marcelli.
