21,000 Square Foot Structure Breathes Life into Local Economy
Ogden, UT -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/06/2010 -- UNITS Mobile Storage of Northern Utah, an industry leader in portable storage, has announced the purchase of a $1.2 million warehouse to house their entire local business operation.
The 21,000 sq. ft. warehouse, purchased by brothers and owners of UNITS of Northern Utah Matt, Burke and Todd Shupe, is located at 3273 S. Midland Drive, Ogden UT 84401. The facility consists of 17,000 sq. ft. of storage for the portable containers, as well as 4,000 sq. ft. for administrative office space. The facility will be fully operational in June 2010.
“We are extremely excited to announce the purchase of our new facility,” said part-owner Matt Shupe. “It shows we believe in the Northern Utah economy and have faith not only that we can be successful but that our operation can help the local communities storage and philanthropic needs.”
UNITS Mobile Storage offers the highest quality steel-framed containers in the industry that are water, mold and UV-resistant. To continue staying ahead of the competition, they plan on introducing a robotic delivery system by 2013 that can be operated from a distance, thus reducing safety risks employees run into when delivering containers.
In 2010 alone, the company plans to add 13-15 new territories across the US to the nearly 40 already servicing customers.
