Skip’s Garage Donates Beer Pong Table for Breast Cancer

Skip’s Garage will donate a pink PORTOPONG inflatable beer pong table to a local beer pong tournament that will sponsor a participant in the Boston Breast Cancer 3day for Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

South Windsor, CT -- (SBWIRE) -- 05/07/2010 -- It is not everyday that beer pong can be associated with supporting breast cancer research. However, Skip’s Garage, a CT web-based company, is showing its philanthropic side by donating merchandise to aid in the research, education, screening, and treatment for this nefarious disease.

Skip’s Garage will donate a pink PORTOPONG inflatable beer pong table that will be given out at a local beer pong tournament fundraiser on June 5, 2010 so that a participant walking in the Boston Breast Cancer 3day can raise money for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Breast Cancer 3day event will take place from July 24-26 and be comprised of thousands of men and women who will be showing their unbridled support for the advancement of breast cancer research and medicine.

This will be the second year that Skip’s Garage, a leader in beer pong supplies online, has donated merchandise to aid in fundraising for the Breast Cancer 3day. According to Kylee Day, who is putting together the beer pong tournament, the pink PORTOPONG inflatable beer pong table was a “huge hit”, and she is excited that Skip’s Garage has decided to be a part of this remarkable event again. Skip’s Garage has merchandise on its website in which proceeds go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help fight cancer, so it has been doing its part in aiding the battle against cancer.

When there are opportunities to help others in need and be associated with a great cause, Skip’s Garage does not hesitate to rise to the occasion. The PORTOPONG inflatable beer pong table is just a small factor in fundraising for the Breast Cancer 3day, but it will play in integral role in getting people together. The intent is to raise even more money this year for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and hopefully Skip’s Garage will be a major factor in the equation.
