The NW Series is the first completely mobile Pick to Light technology in the market, introducing an expanded range of applications that can benefit from light-directed order picking.
Lightning Pick Technologies’ LP Pick to Light solution is ideal for continuous improvement environments by reducing errors and defects in parts and components handling processes. The light-directed methodology is an effective poka-yoke (error proofing) device by directing operators to the correct parts and quantity of each required for the active Bill of Materials. The Lightning Pick methodology also supports kaizen events by eliminating wasted touches common to paper-based material handling approaches.
In 1998 Lightning Pick introduced duct-based Pick to Light technology to the United States. These cable-free light modules retrofit to a rack, shelf, cart or other material handling storage media.
