In School of Management Sciences Various Students Activity Takes Place

 

Varanasi, U.P -- (SBWIRE) -- 07/01/2010 -- Prestigious institute School of Management Sciences organize various activity for the over all development of students. The various activities which take place are all India Youth Festival,Consumer trade fair,Ad-Darshanam,Cross fire etc

All India Youth Festival Based on the theme of “Success through Hard work and Commitment”, the School of Management Sciences organizes All-India Youth Festival every year. This celebration comes with an assorted blend of academic and cultural programmes which test the skills of the participants and give them an opportunity to bring out the best in them. The whole event is organised by the students of SMS.

Such youth festivals have offered ample opportunities to the students of this Institute to mix with the students of other reputed Business School of the country as also the young managers from business and industry and interact extensively with them. From all the various angles, these Youth Festivals have proved to be of increase value for the SMS students to sharpen their skills and develop their overall personality traits to face the various challenges of the managerial life.

Consumer Trade Fair To give an exposure to the intricacies of event management, the Institute organizes Consumer Trade Fair which is participated by the local entrepreneurs and the business and industrial houses of national repute. In this endeavor, the students are given almost complete autonomy to organize this event in a grand manner. Thus, the SMS students get a fair opportunity of interacting with the representatives of various participating organizations which further helps them in their final placement. It is heartening to note that the students of this Institute have been participating in the mega Trade Fairs of the country organised at Delhi and other places.

Ad-Darshanam Ad-Darshanam is yet another regular advertising-cum-display exhibition where students from the Post-graduate as well as the Undergraduate streams join in making different brand-wagons run through Product or Service displays and concept selling using advertisements. This event gets underway in March every year.

Cross-Fire The SMS students also organize Inter-Institutional Quiz programme “Cross-Fire” every year which is participated by a large number of Institutions from all over the country.

Students who are part of SMS they are given full opportunity to nurture their talent for the professional life and to be an innovator in their life. Institute gives further fillip to the extra curricular activities through the following student clubs:

Social Welfare Club Social welfare is concerned with the well-being of entire community. It is not an individual work; it is an organized effort which is intended to advance the social conditions of a community, and especially of the disadvantaged, by providing psychological counseling, guidance, and assistance, especially in the form of social services. This club provides the opportunity to the students to participate in the social cause of the society and be a responsible citizen. The activities undertaken in this club are-
