Time Warner Cable Launches Online Ordering for Customers

New Web link makes it easier to order new services and schedule appointments

 

Rochester, NY -- (SBWIRE) -- 08/06/2010 -- Existing Time Warner Cable customers in the company’s New England and Upstate New York region now have the option to upgrade their products and services online – and save money in the process.

“Our new online ordering system is one more way we work to make things simple and easy for our customers,” said Malik Ghazaleh, director of interactive marketing for Time Warner Cable.

“New customers have had the option to order Time Warner Cable’s services online for more than a year,” Ghazaleh said. “Now, instead of picking up the phone, our current customers can also go to their computers and with the click of a mouse, order our full-range of products and services like extra DVRs, premium movie or sports channels, or blazing fast Road Runner Turbo high-speed online. They may also pick convenient appointment windows to schedule their service.”

Special pricing offers are currently available to customers who use the new online option to upgrade their services. For example, online packages for Digital Cable include a DVR and service for 12 months at no charge, and Voicemail is available for existing Digital Home Phone customers at no charge.

Customers who want to take advantage of online ordering can either sign into their existing MyServices account at https://myservices.timewarnercable.com/ or go to http://www.timewarnercable.com/shop to create their account.

At this time, only Time Warner Cable residential customers in New England and New York may take advantage of online ordering. The company plans to make online ordering available to all Time Warner Cable residential customers nationally by mid-2011.
