The 2010 inaugural event will include activities and events such an Industry Meet N Greet Networking Mixer, conferences, workshops and development sessions as well as the Memphis Hip Hop Expo trade show. The Memphis Hip Hop Expo will feature exhibitors and vendors, live performances, a live Pro BMX bike show featuring Ricky Moseley and The Misled BMX team, a "Hip Hop Art, Ink & Fashion Show," celebrity appearances including by the Memphis Grizzlies and more.
Tickets for both the Memphis Hip Hop Weekend and Memphis Hip Hop Expo are available for purchase online at Eventbrite.com (http://hiphopexpo.eventbrite.com) and Memphis Hip Hop Weekend official site (http://www.memphishiphopweekend.com).
Advance ticket prices start at $10 each for the Memphis Hip Hop Expo for those ages 13+. Those ages 6-12, tickets will be available for $5 and those ages 5 and under will be able to attend free. Attendees can also access all the Memphis Hip Hop Weekend & Expo events by purchasing the Hip Hop Weekend All Access Pass at http://www.memphishiphopweekend.com/tickets or at http://hiphopexpo.eventbrite.com.
The "Hip Hop Weekend All Access Pass" is a package of all events in one pass. Purchase of the "Hip Hop Weekend All Access Pass" gives the attendee access to all "Official" Memphis Hip Hop Weekend events including both days of the Memphis Hip Hop Expo, pass into the Memphis Hip Hop Weekend Industry Conference, Industry Meet-N-Greet Networking Mixer, Memphis Hip Hop Weekend Celebrity Ball Games, After-Party and more.

According to the Memphis Hip Hop Weekend website, "the long term goal is to provide a source of networking and information, opportunities, to build social harmony and promote growth."
