hCentive Appoints Consumer Marketing Innovator Paul Argay to Board of Advisors

Argay comes to hCentive from Resolution Health/ WellPoint, where he served as chief marketing officer and led the development of industry-leading direct-to-consumer health communications programs to improve health care quality and save money for plan members.

Before joining Resolution Health, Argay served as vice president of strategic marketing for Aetna, where he led strategy and marketing plan development for consumer-oriented health care businesses, including Aetna Medicare, Aetna Rx Home Delivery, and the launch of Personal Health Records. In addition, Argay guided the development of an improved member Web site, which was recognized as leading the industry for ease-of-use.

Argay began his career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked for 11 years before moving to progressively higher positions at both Nestle and Haagen-Dazs. He then moved to consumer technology companies, leading the creation and market introduction of wireless telecommunications brands including Sprint Spectrum, the country’s first digital wireless service, and Cricket Communications, targeted to “around town” consumers. He introduced consumer-focused innovations that revolutionized the way wireless is marketed and sold in the U.S.

Argay earned Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
