Bullying is a reality for many individuals, especially children. However, Washington author, Sasha Dreams, is hoping to stop the cycle of bullying when she launches her book, It Takes a Fool: a Tough Lesson Learned on Bullying, in December.

Psychology studies conducted by the UCLA revealed that bullying boosts the popularity and social status of students in middle school. Conversely, statistics provided by the Department of Health and Human Services revealed 89 percent of girls and 79 percent of boys reported being bullied. In addition, approximately 160,000 children miss school each day because they are being bullied.
Sasha is keen to help reduce the incidences of bullying through her book by showing the ripple effects the action has on everyone involved. When asked what inspired her to write the book, the author commented: "I am ready to share my experiences as a bully. It is my prayer that by sharing my story others will choose to make better choices."
