Vilnius, Lithuania -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/04/2014 -- Together with his son, Algimantas Balezentis wants to start his small amber polishing business. The father and son duo has over five years of experience in this field. A valuable and unique stone, Amber is often referred to by the Lithuanians as the 'Lithuanian gold.' Lithuania is known as a country that is highly proficient in making Amber shine. Algimantas wants to share the real beauty of Amber with the world through his new business.

Polishing is the best known technique to highlight its uniqueness and beauty. The most important requirement for an Amber polishing business is the polishing machine. These machines serve several purposes such as smoothening of Amber, making it pleasant to touch, highlighting its color, and polishing the rugged surfaces, edges, and the indentations.

The funding goal for this Indiegogo campaign is $19,000. A high percentage of this amount will be used to purchase the polishing machines.

This includes:

- Polishing (Cost: $2600)
- Grinding (Cost: $1200)
- Cutting (Cost: $1000)
- Powerful vacuum cleaner (Cost: $800)
- Other equipment needed (Cost: $7000)
- Raw amber at least 2 kg (Cost; $7000)

Financial support from the backers will make it much easier and faster for Algimantas Balezentis to get started. He is also seeking help from all to share this project with people that might be interested in Amber. All backers of the project will receive a certain weight of polished amber stone from Algimantas Balezentis.
