Las Vegas, NV -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/18/2014 -- Over the last 7 years with students moving to professional careers in Film, Stage, and Company work. Originating in Pittsburgh, PA in 1988, Broadway West Studio has now been a Dance and Performing Arts Center in Las Vegas since 2007, teaching out of the Club Sport Green Valley facility in Henderson, Nevada. Broadway West believes now the time is right for them to obtain a space of their own to create a place for rehearsals and children's musical theatre and they've launched a Kickstarter campaign to make that happen.

The theatre is currently under the direction of Susan Swanson. Swanson is a professional using a professional staff to educate students in the art of fine dance technique and Swanson's Triple Threat philosophy. Swanson's Grandmother was a touring Vaudeville Star and the Swanson family flourished in the Musical Theatre genre on Broadway, National Tours, Film, and Cabaret around the world.

Together with Michelle Cox as Musical Director will move Broadway West into 2015 as the leader of Musical Theatre training with the strength of fundamental Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Vocal, Acting, and Hip Hop technique bringing all these skills into application on the stage and in front of the camera in the greater Las Vegas area.

Angel investors helping fund the Theatre for Broadway West campaign to the next level will be eligible for perks such as thank yous, website thank you notices, T-shirts, and Hoodies.
