Masterfully crafted by Minister Stephen Myers, ‘Perfection – The Plan’ examines how the work of God in Christ through His death and resurrection was more than God's work toward believers, but also His work in them. Through a book that can be used as a compelling study guide at all levels of faith, Myers helps Christians understand God’s plan for them, embrace it and live a life of true spiritual abundance.
Upper Marlboro, MD -- (SBWIRE) -- 12/31/2014 -- There's no way to sugarcoat it; millions of Christians suffer sin and defeat in their walk, because they don't truly understand the work that God has completed within them. In his uplifting and potentially life-changing new book, Minister Stephen Myers proves that this is the same work God completed in Jesus Christ – laying the foundations for a plan that anyone can live by.
'Perfection - The Plan' fuses the author's diligent study and wisdom with scripture; allowing any reader to finally understand what actually happened within them when they chose to put their faith in God.
Do you want to know the plan of God? If you are a believer in Jesus Christ you should want to know. Understand this, in the construction of anything worthwhile, nothing is built without plans and specifications (Spec's). There are developers, architects, engineers and contractors that all play a part in the design and construction of roads, bridges, buildings and communities. Do you think that man thought of "plans (working drawings) and Spec's (detailed requirements)" on his own? When God told Moses to build the tabernacle he (God) stated "And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. According to all that I show thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle (drawings), and the pattern of all the instruments thereof (Spec's), even so shall ye make it". (Exodus 25:8 & 9) God gave Moses a heavenly plan to follow in the construction of the tabernacle and he even filled men with wisdom, understanding, knowledge and in all manner of workmanship "that they may make all that I have commanded thee" (Ref. Exodus 31:1-6) Consider farmers; they don't just throw seed in the earth without planning.
The earth needs to be tilled and the soil must be suitable for certain types of seed. How does the farmer know what to do and how to do it? "For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him."(Ref. Isaiah 28:26) How can seed produce trees which produce fruit? It is because the pattern is in the seed. The earth and everything in it does not function haphazardly; there is a design to everything, even our very bodies: "Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect(not formed); and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them."(Psalms 139:16) The invisible things of God are to be clearly seen through his creation. (Ref. Romans 1:20) The intent is that what is of God will ultimately resemble him and if his plan is perfect in the design; the result of his plan must be perfect in the construction of that design. That is why he told Moses to make all things according to the pattern shown to thee in the mount. The pattern and the construction of that pattern must become one. In this book you will see how God will reconcile both; "for we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry ye are God's building." (Ref. 1 Corinthians 3:9).
"Christians need to realize that God's work within them is complete and finished," explains the author. "Many believe that it is still left up to them, causing a major disconnect. After reading my book all believers will be fully empowered and prepared to face life from the mindset of what God has already done, rather than what He is going to do."
Continuing, "God hid the mystery of his plan in the things that he created so that only those who receive His Spirit could understand that plan and live it out in the midst of adversity. With discord at an all-time high, this book and its message have never been timelier."
Since its release, the book has garnered a string of rave reviews. One Amazon reader comments, "No matter where you are in your walk, this book is something worth reading. It is an in-depth book with a step-by-step concise message of the plan that God has had for every Christian from the beginning."
Celeste Myers adds, "This book is a useful study for all levels of faith in understanding God's plan for victorious and free living from the clutches of sin through Christ. It digs deep into the meaning of salvation and how it should play out in the lives of believers. A provocative exposition of scripture that makes you rethink the practice of saying "I'm not perfect." With the fullness of Christ in us, we have the same power at our disposal to live righteous...through one choice at a time."
