Yet, Arsenal seem to be losing its confidence from the beginning after the opening goal attempt was made by Sadio Mané from rounding up Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny.
The game was ought to have a beautiful finish if only Laurent Koscielny have done better and Szczesny's positioning was chaotic. Though if it wasn't to his smartly interval with his legs from Ward-Prowse after Mané's cutback it could have been worse for Arsenal.
In the seventh-minute cross, Pellè headed Tadic against the post forcing Szczesny into a scrambling save from Ryan Bertrand's centre. And in the 21 minutes of the game, Arsenal got the big chance when Tomas Rosicky was able to cut back smartly for Cazorla. With Ward-Prowse lifting the follow-up high, Pellè hit the near post from Bertrand's cross. From this turn up of events, Tadic had read the Arsenal goalkeeper's poor back-pass that managed him to get around Szczesny when Debuchy unknowingly had cleared off the line from Pellè.
And in the final 68 minutes, tensions started to build up when Sanchez was halted by Florin Gardons' foul on the edge of the area as he attempts to sprint. Arsene Wenger anticipated having 'a definite red card', yet, the referee reached for a yellow that allowed Sanchez to curl a free- kick ending the game at 2-0.
