Ruben Yessayan Seeks Crowdfunding via Indiegogo for a New Solo Album Featuring the Piano Music of Claude Debussy

Madrid, Spain -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/07/2015 -- Ruben Yessayan is a Spanish pianist moving ahead with his musical adventures through a new crowdfunding campaign to continue realizing his dream of recording the piano music of Claude Debussy. In this, his next solo album, he will record the second book of Preludes that continues down the path of his previous album in which he recorded the first book. Keeping to the tradition of his first solo CD, these pieces will be accompanied by others of the same composer.

All his life Mr. Yessayan admired and studied this beautiful and wonderful music, which gives him a unique and special perspective. He's inspired to continue spreading his views to an appreciative audience of piano music to help music fans better understand one of the most important musicians of European modernity.

Unlike most crowdfunding campaigns launched by would-be musical artists, Ruben Yessayan is an accomplished musician with an impressive resume.

This review is just one among several testimonials to Mr. Yessayan's talent:

"…his recent recording with the Verso label rendering the first book of Preludes on the Debussy Year, displays an unorthodox and imaginative program – Book I from Préludes and Children´s Corner – which rivals in freshness and poetic gestures with the Debussy of Crossley or Lubimov , revealing at the same time the major talent of a multifaceted player, open and demanding" – David Rodríguez Cerdán of Diverdi Magazine.

Crowdfunding is sought to help Ruben record and produce the album at the highest level and with the best quality. An ambitious advertising campaign is planned which is intended to raise awareness of this important branch of music to expand the audience of people who can appreciate fine piano music rendered with modern European flair. In an ever-expanding ocean of musicians seeking to sell more of their music, advertising and promotion is increasingly becoming the deciding factor of an album's success. As Mr. Yessayan said himself, "If you play great (music) but nobody listens, it's a great tragedy."

This crowdfunding campaign ends on February 11, 2015.
