Plymouth, NH -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/13/2015 -- Following the release of their latest album "Rock or Bust", AC/DC will be performing a full world tour with North American Dates to be scheduled for late summer. Check Concert Zap for release dates and ticket information.
Despite founding member Malcolm Young leaving the band due to an undisclosed illness rumoured to be "dementia" the band will continue to tour in 2015 with Young's nephew, Stevie Young, taking his place. The band is currently set to play at the Coachella music festival in April and already has tour dates in several countries that will be keeping them busy until July.
Fueled speculation has been increasing, leaning towards a full North American tour which inside sources say could be starting in the few weeks following their dates in Europe. While dates have not been released at this time, they are speculated to be released within the next few weeks and could possibly be going sale as soon as mid February.
About The Tour
The tour will be promoting their latest album "Rock or Bust" which was released following their 40th anniversary which was celebrated in 2014. The band is hopeful that the drummer, Paul Rudd, will be able to put his legal troubles behind him and join the band for their 2015 tour. Rudd was allegedly charged with attempting to procure a murder after police raided his home however, the charges were dropped. Rudd still has other charges he will be facing but the band has not said whether he will be joining them or not.
Tickets for their tour have not been released however, they will be available on sites like TicketMaster and ConcertZap once they are released.
