Phoenix, AZ -- (SBWIRE) -- 01/20/2015 -- Two extraordinary guests are lined up for the next episode of Deanne DeMarco's fast-paced radio show "Today's Inspiring Women."

First up will be a business thought leader and is known as the women with the titanium Roldex, Judy Robinett who will share her remarkable life story from being a shy women to receiving an award from President Bill Clinton, and having Mark Burnett (Executive Producer of Shark Tank, The Apprentice, and Survivor) endorse her book. The second guest is an equally as motivating role model for women, Lori Ames, who, due to her son's unexpected brain tumor became a reluctant entrepreneur so she could care for her son and work also.

Both women are slated to appear next Thursday, January 22, 2015, during Deanne DeMarco's weekly hour-long program on the VoiceAmerica Empowerment Radio network.

Judy Robinett, is a business thought leader who is known as "the woman with the titanium Rolodex." She had been profiled in Forbes, Venture Beat, Huffington Post and Bloomberg Businessweek as a sterling example of the new breed of "super power connectors." She is author of "How to be a Power Connector" which is endorsed by Mark Burnett, Executive Producer of Shark Tank, The Apprentice, and Survivor.

Judy's life today is a far cry from her early days as a shy social worker. Today, Judy has developed a strong network of some of the most successful investors, fund managers, and entrepreneurs. She has served as the CEO of both public and private companies and in management positions at Fortune 500 companies. She was a member of the Department of Commerce team that defined performance criteria for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award for Performance in Healthcare, for which she received an award from President Bill Clinton.

Deanne DeMarco, who has twenty successful years as a business coach, manager and speaker said, "From her childhood Judy learned first-hand the power of connecting with others and persistence. I will be asking Judy for her inspiring insights on how to develop connections so she can help all of my listeners." DeMarco also said, " I will also ask Judy about some of the biggest mistakes people make in networking and what are the best ways to re-connect with someone you have lost touch with. Additionally, I am curious how she organizes all her contacts."

Lori Ames was the vice president of a New York City public relations agency and had been with them for more than 20 years when her son was unexpectedly diagnosed with a brain tumor. While trying to take care of her son, Lori's employer was regularly asking her when she would be able to return to work. For Lori, however, leaving her son was not an option. With all the chemotherapy, radiation, and physical therapy, Lori knew she could not go back and officially resigned.

Lori and her son, Robert, worked through the feelings of isolation, and desperation as they endured brain tumor surgeries, treatments and rehabilitation. Robert was worried about Lori and convinced her to start a business. Lori then became the reluctant entrepreneur.

Today, Lori runs a thriving PR agency out on Long Island and Robert accompanies Lori to work everyday.

DeMarco will be exploring Lori's unique challenges and will be asking her how she overcame those challenges, and what lessons can be learned for others who need to overcome what seems like insurmountable odds. DeMarco says, "Lori has to compete with larger PR firms, I will asking for Lori what suggestions she has for small businesses looking to promote their work or service."

Deanne says "Each week I introduce extraordinary and inspiring women who may not yet be household names but are business and entrepreneurial rising stars. Judy Robinett and Lori Ames are leading the way in their respective fields. I'm thrilled to have them on the same show. It's all about connecting and caring. This is one powerful show and one not to miss."
